The church of Saint George stands in the cemetery of Tserakvi village in Marneuli Municipality. Sources date the church to sixteen twenty six. It is a hall building of rectangular plan, its walls laid of large irregular boulders and stone fragments, with the upper parts patched with brick here and there.
Round stones are set around the doors and windows, and it is a striking device: the openings get a frame of their own in a different material. A relief slab cut into pieces serves as the lintel of the east window, which means stone from an earlier monument went into the work.
The entrance is on the south. A large lintel stone lies above the door and an arch of the same round stones is drawn above it. Two windows, on the south and east, give the light, the hall is covered by a single arch, and the apse is separated from the common space by a small projection. Two gravestones with Georgian inscriptions stand inside the church.
