The Trinity church stands in Vardisubani village in Telavi Municipality. The hall of about six metres by three and a half is laid of cobble of varying size on lime mortar, and brick went into the work during later repairs.
The floor of the church lies about half a metre below ground level, so a step is made just inside the door. The entrance is on the side, the door is arched and set into a rectangular niche. The interior, small in area, is noticeably drawn upwards, which gives it an unexpected height.
On the east the hall ends in a deep, slightly horseshoe shaped apse holding one arched window and two small rectangular niches on either side. The southern half of the apse lies level with the hall while the eastern half is raised by a step, and an altar table stands there on a low base. The apse is covered by a conch and the hall by a barrel vault.
