The Resurrection church stands in Vardisubani village in Telavi Municipality. The hall of about seven and a half metres by six is laid of cobble on lime mortar and the plan is irregular. Outside, the walls are evened out with plaster filling the gaps of the masonry, and they are plastered inside as well.
The single entrance leads in from a narthex. The doorway is built of square brick, covered by a full arch and set into a rectangular niche recessed from the plane of the wall outside. A low square window sits at the centre of the semicircular apse with small square niches on either side, one of the same kind sits at the northern end of the long walls, and a window with a straight lintel is cut in the north wall.
The building is badly damaged: the roof has collapsed and become overgrown, stones have fallen from the side walls in places, and the parapet is entirely lost. This is one of five church sites in Vardisubani: the village also holds the Trinity church, the Ormotssaidari church, Kvelatsminda and the Svetitskhoveli complex.
