Tatias Sakdari stands in Chumlaki in Gurjaani Municipality: the name is a family one, taken from the household to which the church belonged. The hall building is laid of irregular cobble and rubble stone of varying size, and later additions were built onto it from the south and north.
There are two entrances: one cut in the middle of the south wall, the other at the northeastern end. The lintels of both doors were later rebuilt in brick and the opening closed with a large slate stone. The south entrance originally had a tympanum of cobble; today the semicircular arch survives only on the inside, while the opening has become rectangular outside.
The hall ends in a semicircular apse with a large window flanked by rectangular niches, and remains of an altar table built into the wall survive below the opening. The church is badly damaged: the vault has cracked, a wide fissure runs down the east wall, the northwestern corner is almost gone, and most of the roof and the north window have collapsed. A vaulted cistern with a drain, plastered inside with lime mortar, stands next to the building.
