The Trinity church in Melaani remains the principal church of the village: of its three church sites this one draws the most attention and serves as the parish centre.
The other two are the chapel of Saint George by the village road and the ruins of a church of Saint Marine in the surroundings, about a couple of kilometres away. A dedication to the Holy Trinity, sameba in Georgian, is among the most frequent in Kakheti: this run alone holds more than half a dozen Trinity churches, from Dvani in Shida Kartli to Kvemo Machkhaani in the south of the region.
The church keeps no fixed schedule; service times are learned on site. It stands on the first street of the village and is easy to find. Dress with shoulders and knees covered, a headscarf for women.
