Ethno-village appeared in mountainous Adjara
The chairman of the government of Adjara - T. Rizhvadze got acquainted with the construction project, the planned village construction is already coming to an end.
Ethno-village is a type of recreation and rehabilitation on the basis of a territory where a small settlement has been created or recreated. The peculiarity of this place is that cultural and traditional values are preserved.
Not far from Batumi, in Khelvachauri, there is the Machakhela gorge with unique natural landscapes, and it is here that the new village is located. The project is interesting in that it emphasizes the most careful attitude to the existing natural agricultural species, plus an emphasis on cultural and ethnographic values.
The ethnic village should attract a new flow of tourists, and therefore the local population will be attracted and provided with work. Economic growth, due attention to ecology and the protection of the surrounding landscapes are small tasks for a small settlement.
Along with the completion of the construction of the ethnic village, such works are planned as the improvement of the bridge in the Machakhela gorge; reconstruction of the Alivake fortress. The Machakhel Rifle road will also be improved. The craft of gunsmiths of Adjara glorified this corner far beyond the borders of the country.
