Georgian electric cars will be produced in Kutaisi
Georgia, as an agricultural country, depends on climate stability. Climate change, which is taking place all over the planet, is manifested in Georgia by landslides and droughts, unexpected hail that destroys crops and other natural disasters.
Georgia, having signed international environmental agreements and protocols, is committed to reducing the level of carbon dioxide gases emitted into the atmosphere by 25%.
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is financing the Green Cities project. As part of the project, Georgia will build an electric car manufacturing plant in Kutaisi and the country will switch to electric cars within 10 years.
The government plans to provide the country with ecological transportation and to export Georgian electric cars to Europe.
