Food Agency detects prohibited dyes in 5 spice samples
In a statement published by BPN on 24 October 2026, the National Food Agency said it had taken 94 spice samples since the start of 2026. Five contained prohibited dyes of the Sudan group.
The agency announced a sales ban on the non-compliant batches listed in its statement. Of the 94 samples, 44 were collected in September.
