Proposal to raise single parents' tax-free income to GEL 15,000
The For Georgia faction has submitted a proposal to parliament to raise the annual income limit exempt from income tax for single parents from GEL 3,000 to GEL 15,000. BPN reported the initiative on 26 October 2026.
The initiators consider the current benefit insufficient.
