Georgia's National Food Agency reported on 28 October 2026 repeated critical violations at a restaurant in Tbilisi. The operator was fined GEL 5,000 and a specific production process was suspended.
In the Baghdati municipality, the agency halted an illegal cheese producer. It lacked activity registration and mandatory agency approval, and inspectors found critical violations and labelling problems.
