Review Moderation Policy on Madloba.info
Madloba.info publishes reviews from real users about companies operating in Georgia. We do not remove reviews at a company's request unless the review violates our moderation rules. This page is a public document we reference in any correspondence regarding reviews.
✅ What we do:
- Publish reviews from registered users after automated and manual moderation
- Remove reviews that violate our rules (see below)
- Allow companies to respond to any review free of charge
- Protect the personal data of review authors
❌ What we don't do:
- Remove negative reviews at a company's request
- Remove reviews in exchange for payment or premium package purchases
- Disclose personal data of review authors
- Moderate reviews based on emotional criteria ("the company didn't like it")
A review is removed if it:
- Contains profanity, personal insults, or threats. Crude language directed at specific individuals, expressions of harm, hate speech.
- Discloses personal data of natural persons. An employee's home address, personal mobile phone, copies of identity documents, photos without consent — these violate the Georgian Law on Personal Data Protection.
- Contains incitement to violence or discrimination.
- Is demonstrably false and refuted by documentary evidence. If the company can prove (through documents, receipts, screenshots) that the events described did not occur — the review will be reviewed for removal.
- Constitutes spam or advertising. Competitor advertising, links to external resources, template text from bots.
- Was posted by a competitor posing as a customer. When obvious signs are present (mass posting, repeating patterns).
A review remains published if:
- It is negative but stays within normal language standards.
- The author is dissatisfied with the quality of a product or service — this is their lawful right as a consumer.
- The company "disagrees" with the customer's evaluation but provides no documentary refutation.
- The company has purchased a premium package or advertising.
- A similar review exists on Google Maps, Yandex, or other platforms — this is normal; one customer can have one experience.
Why We Maintain This Policy
Removing reviews at the request of companies makes a directory fictitious. If a listing contains only positive reviews — users stop trusting the directory, and it loses its value.
Our policy is based on the same standards used by Google Maps, Yandex, TripAdvisor, and other major platforms. The user's right to express their opinion is protected by Article 17 of the Constitution of Georgia.
What a Company Can Do Instead of Removal
- Respond to the review on behalf of the company — free of charge, after verification of representation. Your response will appear directly under the review and will be visible to all readers.
- Submit documentary refutation — if a review contains specific false statements and you have evidence, we will review them.
- Improve service and ask satisfied customers to leave reviews — this is more effective than removing one negative review.
Where to Write
All inquiries about reviews — in writing only, to:
In the email, please include: a link to the listing, a link to the specific review, the reason for your inquiry, and the desired action. Confirmation of company representation is mandatory (see article "How to Verify You Are an Official Company Representative").
