The church of St. George completes the six churches of Karaleti and stands in the western part of the village, not far from the church of Archangel Michael.
Gathering all six buildings in one walk is entirely realistic: the village is long, but the distances between churches are measured in hundreds of metres rather than kilometres. Such a circuit gives a vivid sense of how a large Georgian village is arranged: not one centre but several parish cores formed by quarter and by family.
It is easier to start from the Marian church in the south and work north towards the Kviratskhoveli chapel, leaving this church as the finish. The whole circle takes about an hour and a half. Dress soberly, women bring a headscarf.
