The Kviratskhoveli church stands in the upper part of Mitsobi village in the west of Shida Kartli. The feast of Kviratskhovloba falls on the first Sunday after Easter, hence the dedication.
The village lies north of Khashuri, in the hills above the Kura valley. The church at Gola stands a kilometre to the south, and beyond the ridge to the east begins Tsromi.
Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. The roads here are unpaved, so dry weather makes the drive easier.
