The church of St. George stands in the northern part of Khtsisi village in Khashuri Municipality. It is another shrine of the village after the church of John the Baptist.
Khtsisi lies east of Khashuri, in the hills above the Kura valley, by the road that climbs from the plain. The John the Baptist church stands a kilometre and a half to the south, and beyond the ridge to the north begins Mitsobi.
This is a living parish: modest clothing is appropriate for a visit. If the doors are closed, local people will tell you the times of worship.
