The cross of the apostles with a prayer house stands in the hills near Kodmani village in the west of Shida Kartli. Samlotsvelo is a small prayer place: people climb here to light a candle, and no services are held.
The spot lies in the thick of the local monastic cluster: the Pine monastery is half a kilometre away, with the Bana and Bermukha houses close by.
The place can be approached at any time, and the climb runs along a dirt road. Candles and modest offerings are left here, and gifts of others are not touched.
