Lake Tobavarchkhili, also known as Silver Lake, is located on the Egrisi Range, Tsalenjikha Municipality, among the natural attractions of the region, at an elevation of 2,650 metres. It's the largest lake on the range and the source of the Magana River, which carves a scenic canyon through the surrounding cliffs.
Three more lakes on the same range lie nearby: Didgalish Toba, Kalalish Toba and Tsakatskarish Toba, making it possible to combine several lakes into one multi-day trek.
According to several independent visitor reviews, the route is physically demanding: part of the path crosses difficult sections, requires good fitness, and typically takes several days. The trail rewards hikers with a variety of wildflowers along the way and alpine views across the Egrisi Range. Plan the trek in advance and allow enough time and gear for a multi-day route.
