This is the second Cholashi church of St. George. Unlike the first and the third, it carries no Svan name, only the dedication itself.
It stands by Majvdieri village, eight kilometres from Mestia. Another church of St. George at Cholashi is very close, some three hundred and forty metres away, the church of St. Barbare at six hundred, the other church of St. George at seven hundred.
Small Svan churches rarely hold regular services, yet the shrine can be approached at any time. Follow the coordinates.
