From here the Cholashi group of four churches begins. All four stand by Majvdieri village and carry the name of the Cholashi hamlet, and three of them are dedicated to St. George, so they are told apart by order.
This first one also has the Svan name jgrag, the local name of the same saint. The church of St. Barbare stands three hundred and fifty metres away, the two other churches of St. George at seven and eight hundred.
Small Svan churches rarely hold regular services, yet the shrine can be approached at any time. Follow the coordinates.
