The church of the Saviour is one of the two shrines of Hebudi village; in Svaneti the Saviour is called matskhvar, and dedications to him are almost as frequent here as those to St. George.
Half a kilometre away stands the second Hebudi church, that of St. George. Right next to the village lies the Lankhvri locality with two more churches, and in neighbouring Kartvani there is a church of Michael the Archangel: a small cluster of shrines within a stretch of a kilometre and a half.
The church can be approached at any time; follow the coordinates. In working churches keep quiet and dress modestly.
