This church has two names and two places. It is called a church of the Saviour and placed at Larchvali, while beside it sound the name of St. George and the place name Tsiperchi. We discard neither: both are attached to this place, and we will not choose between them.
The place lies seven kilometres from Tsageri, in the Lechkhumi mountains. The church of Kveda Aghvi stands about two kilometres away, the ruins of Namarnevi three, the church of Chkumi four, the Lasuriashi monastery four and a half. The valley here is narrow and the slopes wooded.
A double name is easy to confuse on the ground, so follow the coordinates. The approach is unpaved and soft in the rain. The building is viewed from outside, the old masonry asks for care, nothing is taken away. Tsageri is close, less than half an hour by road.
