The church of Galavani village stands without a separate dedication: its name is made up of the village name and the word church.
Another shrine of Galavani, the Kviratskhoveli church, stands about five hundred metres away, and the Tsinamdzghvrishvili church nine hundred. Less than two kilometres off begins the district of Tsinamdzghvriantkari village, where several more churches stand.
The church is rural and quiet, its gates opened by arrangement. The rules are the usual ones: covered shoulders and knees, a headscarf for women, quiet. The village is small and its streets are narrow, so it is easier to leave the car at the entrance.
