The small church of Tsurtavi closes the trio of local churches. The byname, as with the upper church, serves to tell the buildings apart rather than to describe their size or furnishing.
It stands nearest of all to the community: a little over two hundred metres to it, and as much again to the church on the edge of Kolagiri. Farther on come the Nakhiduri church and the village mosque, and all seven churches of the cluster fit into a circle a kilometre across.
There are no regular services and people come freely. Paths and dirt roads run between the churches of the cluster, and walking them is easier than driving.
