The village mosque of Nakhiduri stands on the southern edge of the village. The jame here is small, without a minaret, and from the outside differs little from the dwellings around it.
Three hundred and fifty metres away stands the village church, closer still the old church of the same village, and half a kilometre off the community near Kolagiri. This is the closest neighbourhood of different traditions in the whole district: seven holy places within a kilometre.
The usual etiquette applies: shoes off at the entrance, modest clothing, women cover their heads, and the hall is not entered during prayer. Walking the whole cluster, remember that the order in a mosque and in a church is not the same.
