On the western edge of Tbeti village in Tsalka Municipality, in the cemetery, stand two chapels of the Archangel Michael at once. The first is a hall building with a semicircular apse on the east, laid of undressed stone, with an architrave dressing the west entrance and a window cut in the east wall.
Local people built the second a couple of metres to the east, right on the ruins of an older Georgian church. It is a hall too, of roughly worked stone, with a semicircular apse in which the masonry of the earlier building shows. The entrance is on the south, also with an architrave. The fittings and walls of both chapels are assembled from the stones of the old church.
Old gravestones survive south of the chapels, among them a carved figure of a horse. They stand on the southern edge of ancient Khadiki, a medieval settlement now hidden under water. Greeks resettled here in the nineteenth century.
