The village chapel in Sameba in Tsalka Municipality is arranged in an unusual way: a dwelling house was converted into it. It stands on a private household plot, and from outside it still reads as an ordinary village building.
The building is hall like and whitewashed, the entrance is on the west side and the roof is covered with sheet metal. A stone bearing the image of a cross stands inside, and it is the main treasure here.
Sources assign the chapel to the twentieth century. The village formerly bore the name Gunia Kala, and this is one of four chapels in Sameba: the others stand in the cemetery, by the road and in a household yard in the southern part of the village.
