The Birinji church stands by the road between the villages of Saparlo and Mamishlo in Dmanisi Municipality. The site is counted together with its cemetery: church and graveyard form a single whole here.
The walls and the apse have come down to us. No detailed description survives of the building and no date, so no century is named here and no architectural particulars are given.
The Saparlo to Mamishlo road runs through the southern part of the municipality, along the Georgian and Armenian borderland, and the church stands right beside it, so it is easy to stop by on the way. The interior of the church remains undescribed.
