The chapel of St. Sara stands in Santa village of Tsalka Municipality. It is a small village shrine with a rare dedication: the holy place bears the name of righteous Sara.
Santa lies on the Tsalka plateau, among open meadows north of the town of Tsalka. All around is the highland of Kvemo Kartli, where villages are separated by wide pastures.
There are no regular services at the chapel, and it can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left in their places.
