The chapel bears the name of the apostles Peter and Paul. Unlike the two other Santa shrines, which stand almost side by side, this one keeps apart.
It lies in the northern part of Santa, about eight hundred metres from the chapels of St George and St Charalampos. Santa is one of the old villages of the Tsalka plateau, where Greek families lived for centuries, and traces of that are still heard in local names.
There are no regular services here and one may come at any time. A key is usually not needed, but the order inside is kept by the residents themselves, so litter is carried away.
