The church of the Annunciation stands in Kveshi and differs from most rural shrines of the district in keeping to a settled order: the parish gathers at weekends, on Saturday afternoon and on Sunday until the middle of the day.
Two hundred and forty metres away is the church of St Nicholas, another shrine of the village. Kveshi lies north of Bolnisi, in the hilly part of the municipality where villages stand along the slopes.
On the spot it is worth remembering that rural parishes live by arrangement and the order may change. The usual etiquette applies: covered shoulders and knees, quiet.
