Only ruins are left of the St Constantine church. It belonged to the village of Akhta, which no longer exists: such abandoned villages are called nasoplari in Georgia, and the church is usually the last thing that survives of them.
The spot lies near Arjevan Sarvani, north of Tsalka. Arjevan Sarvani itself also has church ruins and the Naliba church of the Mother of God, while three hundred metres from the village church stands the St George church site, the place of yet another vanished building.
No services are held here and the object is viewed from the outside. The walls rest on old mortar, so leaning on them or climbing up is a bad idea.
