The church is dedicated to Saint George and stands on an unnamed country road in Chandari. It has no street address, and the easiest way to navigate is by the road running through the village.
Chandari lies four kilometres north-east of Gurjaani, on the Alazani plain among vineyards. The village holds two more sanctuaries, a Dormition church and a church of Saint Barbara, so there are three churches here.
There is no fixed schedule of services, but the village is lively and it is usually possible to step inside. The usual rules apply: covered shoulders and knees, quiet. Its closeness to Gurjaani makes the trip short: the three sanctuaries can be walked in about half an hour, and the drive from town takes a few minutes.
