The Sarimtsava church stands in Maghraani. The word is most likely a local name for a locality or a quarter rather than the name of a saint: no dedication has attached to the church, and it cannot be recovered.
This is another site of the village after the Deity church about a kilometre away; the third, the Tsamebuli church, stands in the upper part of Maghraani, and the word tsamebuli means martyr. The village lies east of Akhmeta, where the Alazani valley meets the foothills. Neighbouring Babaneuri, a couple of kilometres off, has a Deity church of its own, so the names in the area echo one another.
The doors are opened during the day and evening, though for a village church this is a habit rather than a schedule. Dress with shoulders and knees covered, a headscarf for women, and speak quietly on the grounds.
