The Lashari church stands in the southwestern part of Kvemo Khodasheni village in Telavi Municipality. The famous Lasharis Jvari sanctuary in Pshavi bears the same name, but this is a village church of Kakheti.
Kvemo Khodasheni lies at the foot of the Tsiv-Gombori range, on the edge of the Alazani valley. The village is rich in holy places: the Amidasturi church stands in its northeastern part, and the Trinity basilica and the Virgin Mary church are here as well.
Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left in their places.
