The Kvelatsminda church stands in Ozaani in Dedoplistskaro Municipality, in an area historically called Tslunkaani. The hall is laid of cobble, while the vault, the cornices and all the openings are built of brick.
There is one entrance, on the west: outside the opening is dressed with a flat arch, inside it is rectangular and narrows. The space is defined by a semicircular apse separated by a pair of pilasters and a pointed arch resting on them. The apse holds one rectangular window and four niches, three to the left of the opening and one on the south, and the conch is drawn in a regular curve.
The hall is short and almost square, and is covered on pointed arches: besides the sanctuary arch, two more carry it, one in the middle of the hall and one by the west wall, both hanging. Arches divide the side walls, and similar but lower ones stand on either side of the entrance. On the west facade above the entrance a cross on a pedestal is formed by recessed masonry, and the roof is covered with corrugated tile. A round brick bell tower, a form rare in these parts, once stood on the hill to the west, and only its foundation remains.
