A samlotsvelo is a small place of prayer rather than a parish church, and the scale is worth picturing in advance. It is dedicated to the unmercenaries Kozma and Damiane, venerated as healers who treated without payment.
The prayer house stands barely sixty metres from the episcopal cathedral of Cheremi, the main church of the village. Such proximity is usual for large parishes: the cathedral and the small prayer house share one yard, and there is no point in seeing them separately. Cheremi lies south-east of Sagarejo, at the foot of the Gombori range.
No regular services are held at the prayer house and it can be approached at any time. Seeing it takes a few minutes, and the whole cluster with the cathedral a quarter of an hour. Behave as you would in a church: quietly, with shoulders and knees covered.
