A small church stands on the southwestern edge of Kisiskhevi village in Telavi Municipality. No dedication has settled on the church, and locals know it simply as a village church.
Kisiskhevi lies at the foot of the Tsiv-Gombori range, on the edge of the Alazani valley. A little higher up the slope is the saqdari of the Rigi area, and the Virgin Mary church is active in the village itself.
There are no regular services here, and the church can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and the interior deserves careful treatment.
