The Kondamiani monastery complex stands in the surroundings of Kisiskhevi village, in Telavi Municipality. The place is called Kisiskhevis Kondamiani, after the village and the locality.
The community lies away from the village, on slopes facing the Alazani valley. The track here is gravel, and the last few hundred metres are walked.
Ordinary monastic rules apply: covered shoulders and knees, a headscarf for women, quiet, and photography by permission.
