This small church in Gulgula is called the Kvavis saidari. The name contains the word kvavi, Georgian for a crow, while saidari means a church.
The site stands south of the village, away from houses, on a slope above the valley. The other two churches of Gulgula are a kilometre and a half away.
There are no regular services here and you can come at any time. Modest dress and quiet are appropriate, and the old building is treated with care.
