The ruins of a church stand near Ujarma village. Neither a name nor a dedication has stayed with them, and there have been no regular services here for a long time.
The ground is crowded: a two storey church stands two hundred and thirty metres away, the Ogondaanti sakdari half a kilometre off, and the Kakhelebi church about a kilometre away. Ujarma itself, with its fortress above the Iori, lies two and a half kilometres from here.
You can come up at any hour, there are no gates. The masonry is old and holds poorly, so do not climb the walls, neither for the view nor for a photograph. The fallen stones are part of the monument too, better left untouched and not piled into cairns.
