Tskhrajvari, which means “9 crosses”, is the site of a special shrine dedicated to St. George. Located in the Imereti region, it is immersed in beauty and spirituality, rising on the top of a mountain near Tkibuli at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level.

Every year on the last Saturday of May, in the Imereti region, especially in the municipality of Tkibuli and its villages, the Tskhrajvaroba holiday shines, gathering believers and inquisitive pilgrims.

The legend embedded in these holy lands inspires hearts: a father, praying for the return of his nine sons from the war, raised crosses to the mountain. Over time, his sons returning unharmed confirmed the power of his prayers. Today, Tskhrajvari attracts pilgrims from all over the world, eager to connect with the spiritual heritage of Georgia.

The uniqueness of this place is also revealed in its natural gifts: not far from the Tskhrajvari temple, a mysterious cave permeated with legends and secrets was discovered.

After passing the road, only a short walking trail awaits you leading to the shrine. However, in addition to physical feats, a spiritual awakening awaits you, inspired by the power of faith and the beauty of Georgian nature.
