The church of Saint George stands in Zarati in Tskaltubo Municipality, in the same yard as the older church of Saints Kvirike and Ivlita. The building is rectangular in plan and closed on the east by a semicircular sanctuary raised by a step.
The interior is covered by a barrel vault on three pointed arches whose imposts are gathered by a common cornice. Two pairs of flat pilasters divide the long walls, and similar ones stand at the corners of the west wall. The sanctuary is separated from the hall by two tier pilasters and a triumphal arch thrown across them, with a solea and a wooden screen before it and an altar stone beneath the sanctuary window.
Outside, the facades are faced with pale yellow ashlars of hewn sandstone and divided by flat pilasters, and the church is raised on a high plinth with a profiled top. The windows are framed by a two tier band that rises from the base of the plinth, and all three doors are dressed with paired columns finished by ornamented cuffs. Sources assign the building to the 19th century and dates it to 1887.
