The Margvelashvili family church, dedicated to the Saviour. The name carries the word salotsavi, a place of prayer: it is slightly wider than church, since it covers a chapel and a site of household prayer alike. A family keeps such a place across generations, separate from the parish church that everyone attends.
The Nagarevi locality gathers several holy places at once, and each belongs to a different village: this church of the Saviour by Tsutskhvati, an Archangel church by Godogani and the ruins of a Saint George church between them. That is normal for a locality: village boundaries and the boundaries of an old church site rarely coincide. The century of building is not established.
The site is a family one and calls for more restraint than a parish church: quieter, and moving nothing. Dress modestly, women wear a headscarf.
