The church of St George is known by the byname Midori. What it means and where it came from is not explained in the district, yet it is by that name that this church is told apart from the two others in the village.
It stands on the western edge of Partskhanakanevi. The village keeps three shrines: the church of St Matrona of the Russian Orthodox tradition about two kilometres from here, the church of St George in the southern part, and this one. Three churches for a single lowland village is a lot for Imereti.
There are no regular services, and visits are arranged with local people. The country here is flat and all three churches can be walked in an hour.
