The church of St George stands in the southern part of Partskhanakanevi. The building is a plain village one, and it is another church of the village.
The first, the church of St Matrona, lies a kilometre and a half to the north and belongs to the Russian Orthodox tradition, which is unusual for these parts. Another church of the village, a church known as Midori, stands on the western edge.
There are no regular services and people come freely. All three village shrines fit into a short walk, the country here being flat.
