Maghlaki lies north-west of Kutaisi, on the plain by the edge of Tskaltubo Municipality. The second Maghlaki shrine, the church in the Duknebi locality, stands two kilometres away, beyond the inhabited part.
On the spot it is worth remembering that even a settled order may change if the church is locked. The usual etiquette applies: covered shoulders and knees, no noise inside.
