A church of the Most Holy Mother of God that carries a second name too: Dedaoghvtisao. This is not a separate dedication but an invocation, literally Mother of God in the vocative, the words with which a prayer begins. Georgian villages often name their churches this way, by the first words spoken inside them.
The church stands in Dilikauri, a quarter of the large village of Zeda Sakara, that is Upper Sakara, strung along an Imeretian slope above the Kvirila valley. In the same quarter, about two kilometres higher, stands a church of Saint George, and beside the village a male monastery. What the name Dilikauri means no one undertakes to explain, and no date of building is named either.
The parish is small and there are no regular services. It can be approached at any time; inside it is customary to cover shoulders and knees, and women cover their heads.
