A church of the Most Holy Mother of God, another building of one church yard. Less than fifty metres separate it from the Saint George church, so on the ground this is almost certainly a single yard with two churches.
Such a pair, a main church and a second beside it, is ordinary in a Georgian village: the second might be raised later, for a different service or in fulfilment of a vow. Which of the two is older cannot be established: no century of building is named for either. Tsutskhvati lies north of Kutaisi by a karst cave complex, and the area holds several holy places.
The parish is rural and services are infrequent. Dress modestly, women wear a headscarf. Both churches of the yard can be seen in a few minutes.
