Pegasus conquers the skies of Georgia: New flights from Istanbul to Kutaisi in December

Turkish airline Pegasus raises the level of aviation in Georgia, announcing the launch of regular flights from Istanbul to Kutaisi from December 22. This important event creates strong links between the two options and Pegasus' view on the prospect of changing positions in the Georgian market.

The decision to include Kutaisi in the Pegasus air transportation list was made after productive procedures on the Routes World international route in Istanbul. "This is another important stage for our aviation industry. Starting from December, Pegasus offers 3 flights a week between Istanbul and Kutaisi," said Irakli Karkashadze, Director General of the Airports Association.

The new direction will not only be a convenient way of travel for tourists, but also will activate the transit flow through Kutaisi, contributing to the development of the region. "This new route will help to increase the tourist flow and will become an important impetus for the development of the Imereti region," Karkashadze said.
