One of the most beautiful places in Georgia is Lake Bateti
It impresses with its amazing beauty and impresses both locals and tourists. Located in the Dzami Valley, this small forest lake delights with its natural appearance. It is located in the center of a green forest and rises 1,313 meters above sea level. Mountains, forested slopes, gorges and ravines surround it.
Lake Bateti is simply magnificent, especially in autumn, when the mountains around are covered with colorful foliage. The road to the lake is bad, consisting of clay and characterized by sharp slopes. But even despite the busy road, the lake is worth it to overcome all the obstacles.
The shape of the lake is triangular, its length does not exceed two hundred meters, and its depth is less than twelve meters. There is no beach where you can relax and swim. The forest stretches along the entire coast and comes close to the water, and in some places even enters the lake. It was noticed that some spruce trunks fell into the water and drowned.
However, if you have an interest and skill in quiet mushroom hunting in autumn, then here you can collect more than one basket. In addition, here you can see the Little Asian newt, which is listed in the Red Book. Although there are no fish in Lake Bateti, it still attracts attention with its unique beauty and wonderful landscapes.
