Mtskheta is an ancient city

The ancient city of Mtskheta is located in the center of the intersection of two rivers Kura and Aragvi, 20 km away. from the city of Tbilisi in the north. It was founded in the V century BC.

In ancient times, this city was the center of trade routes. Mtskheta is also considered a spiritual part of Georgia. Saint Nina lived here and spread the Christian religion.

The city has preserved ancient buildings that are considered an architectural landmark. Part of the fortress of Bebristsikhe also survived.

Temples are of particular interest to tourists. Some of them are protected by UNESCO.

Hotels and cafes are constantly open on the streets of Mtskheta. All kinds of souvenirs are sold in shops and street stalls.

    Пейзаж просто восхитительный., наверное много туристов ездит посмотреть столько красивое и древнее место.

    Мне почему то такие места напоминают фэнтезийные миры или из каких небудь сказок и легенд. Но сам пейзаж очень похож. Я бы с удовольствием отправился в горную пешию прогулку к этому озеру. После чего пресел возле него и просто отключил мозг, наслаждаясь прекрасными видами. И там не надо носить маски, это самое главное для городского жителя.
